Who we are
At our core are Canadian and Hong Kong lawyers and business executives, each experienced in complex transactions and demanding circumstances. The firm grew out of Pan Ocean International Business Limited and its chair's 25 years in the Canadian legal and financial industry.
How we work
Our services tend to be required on an urgent basis. We are project-oriented and deal-driven: engagements are structured with clear milestones, senior partners handle the work directly, and when the initial goals are achieved our clients move on without long-term costs.
The Hong Kong position
Hong Kong brings together Western expectations and Eastern capabilities. Our focus is on North American and Australian companies reaching out to Asian markets: we connect them with strategic partners and investors, and we guide them through the maze of opportunities. Increasingly that means companies diversifying beyond the United States altogether, finding buyers, suppliers and distribution in Asia rather than depending on one market. Our clients come from natural resources, renewable energy, high tech, medical technologies and biotech.
